| Although he was born in St. Helen, MI, Northwestern University loves to claim this screen legend as their very own. And who can blame 'em. Who else could pull off epic hero and furturistic ape man in one stint of a career? (And win Best Oscar just for kicks). He may be fielding some heavy flack for support of the NRA, (come on Moses. . . let's remember, thou shall not kill). . ., but let's admit it, it's always fun to see this screen legend pop up in current flicks such as True Lies (1994) and Wayne's World 2 (1994). Film acting credits include The Ten Commandments (1956), Ben-Hur for which he won the Oscar for Best Actor, and Planet of the Apes (1968).
