| A member of the famed Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Metcalf became a household name while co-starring of the hit TV sitcom Roseanne in which she played sister cop, Jackie Harris. Metcalf has made a few recent appearances in indie films such as Oliver Stone's U-Turn (1997) and Chicago Cab. She most recently appears in the TV movie-of-the-week The Long Island Incident (1998) in which Metcalf portrays the life story of anti-gun activist Carolyn McCarthy. Unfortunately, she also appears in the tanker flick Bulworth (1998) alongside Warren Beatty and Halle Berry.
