Received a 1997 Jefferson Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for Circle Theatre's "The Glory of Living." He's been an American Theater Company member since 1991, appearing in "The Homage That Follows," "Tom and Jerry," "On the Waterfront," "Monsters: Glimpses of Urban Lunacy," "Desire Under the Elms," "Bus Stop", and "Stalag 17." He has also performed with the Goodman Theatre, Northlight, Organic, and New Tuners.

Also a composer, his score for Oak Park Festival Theatre's "Dr. Faustus" was nominated for a Jeff award.
