| Born in Defiance, OH this Northwestern University (BS, School of Speech) and UCLA (MFA, film school) has appeared in a number of feature films, including Heartbreakers (2001), Best in Show (2000), Can't Stop Dancing (1999), Happy, Texas (1999), Thick as Thieves (1999), House Arrest (1996), Shooting Lily (1996), Waiting for Guffman (1996), The Making of... And God Spoke (1993). He wrote House Arrest and Where the Day Takes You (1992). He is also a member of the Los Angeles comedy/improv troupe The Groundlings (with fellow NU alum Ana Gasteyer), and co-produces the Fox late-night comedy series MAD TV.
