Paula Kamen
 
A Chicago journalist and feminist writer, Paula Kamen is the author of four books and three plays. Her one-act comedy, Seven Dates with Seven Writers, was performed by Bathsheba Productions at Chicago Dramatists and IO in 1998. Her drama Jane was performed by Green Highway Theater Company in 1999 and 20 Percent Productions in 2007, along with having about a dozen other productions and readings through the country. Monologues and scenes from those plays were published in several "best of" theater anthologies. Her ten-minute play, "A Cure for AIDS," was a finalist in a Chicago Dramatists Ten-Minute Play Competion and placed first in the Unfinished Works competition of the AIDS Services Foundation Orange County, Irvine, California, December 2005.
