Paula Prentiss

Born Paula Ragusa in San Antonio, TX on March 4, 1939, Ms. Prentiss was one of the best American comediennes of the 1960s, becoming a leading lady in a number of screwball comedies, as well as some dramatic roles. Discovered by a talent scout at Northwestern University in 1958, she signed with Metro Goldwyn Mayer, leading to a series of comedies with Jim Hutton.

Empire magazine picked her as one of the "100 Sexiest Stars in film history." Her sister Ann Prentiss is also well-known in the film industry, as is her husband (and fellow NU alum) Richard Benjamin.
