The New York Times called Pegasus a "consistently top-notch theater experience." The Chicago Tribune put their "Passion" on its Top 12 list for 1996, calling the company a "plucky, off-Loop company with an astonishing polish and power."
Pegasus won more Jeff Citations that year than any other Chicago Theater.
