| Steppenwolf Theatre Company member (The Common Pursuit, Earthly Possessions, Evelyn and the Polka King, Rose-of-Sharon in The Grapes of Wrath -- which won the 1990 Tony Award for "Best Play", and - as Kyra Hollis - in Steppenwolf's 1997-8 season-opener Skylight) and Northwestern University alumnus (a graduate degree from the School of Music, 1984). She also starred as Julie Jordan in Lincoln Center Theatre's production of Carousel (which won a 1994 Tony Award for best musical revival), and recently was a member of the Tony-nominated The Wild Party.
