| Originally from Richmond, VA, this Northwestern University alum achieved Hollywood's approval after his appearance in Bonnie and Clyde, in which he not only starred (alongside Faye Dunaway), but also produced. Later, Beatty nabbed an Oscar for Best Director of Reds (1981), and everything seemed pretty peachy-keen until an extended absence followed by the classic stinker Ishtar (1984) alongside Dustin Hoffman. For some, it's been down hill ever since. Beatty is currently married to Annette Bening whom he met while filming Bugsy (1992). Since then, he's appeared in Dick Tracy (1991), Love Affair (1994), and Bulworth (1998)...
While at Northwestern, he appeared in the 1956 Waa-Mu Show.
